Jennifer “Jen” Young

Office Manager

Jen was born and raised in Loveland. She started working at Loveland Veterinary Clinic for Dr. Daily in 2005 as a jack of all trades, master of none. She was “fired” by Dr. Daily and rehired the same day by Dr. Jones when he bought the practice in 2006, and has worked her way up to Office Manager. She enjoys working, hiking, hanging with her family that lives here in Loveland, as well as traveling to visit the rest of her family in North Carolina, reading, and watching movies. She also volunteers for senior citizens; bringing in their pets, picking up food or just having a cup of coffee with them. She has 3 cats, Wally, a fired clinic cat, Barry, a rescued pica cat, and Roma a foster failure.  She is also an honorary aunt to many clients’ pets that have come into the clinic.

Sara Newman, BA, AAS, CVT

Lead Technician

Sara joined our practice in 2015.  Sara grew up in Montana with a huge appreciation for the natural world and everything it has to offer. She spent her childhood with Yellowstone National Park as her backyard. She moved to Missoula, MT to attend high school.

Sara received her BA in archaeology and Native American Studies from the University of Montana. During her studies in Missoula, she worked at a dog boarding and day care where they would hike with the dogs. Piling 10 dogs into her Subaru and hiking them off leash in the woods was the best. After graduating, she worked seasonally with trail crews, on a mountain ranch. Being adventurous, she moved with her dog, Kenzii Puppinpawz to Fort Collins and attended Front Range Community College to get her degree as a veterinary technician. She is continuing to expand her knowledge in animal medicine here as well as working towards her wildlife rehabilitation license with Greenwood Wildlife Rehab Center in Longmont, CO.

Katie Kleinbeck AAS, CVT

After developing an interest in medicine and animals, Katie pursued a degree in Veterinary Technology at Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology and graduated in September of 2010. Following graduation, she sat for her National Veterinary Technician Exam and passed in December of 2010. She started her veterinary career path as an intern at Alameda East Animal Hospital, in emergency and critical care. In October of 2010, she started working at Loveland Veterinary Clinic and has been here ever since. About two years ago she decided to go back to school to obtain her BS in Microbiology at CSU.

She graduated from Front Range Community College in August of 2016 with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology. Soon after, she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. She enjoys helping people and animals in various ways, and educating clients in preventative medicine. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, backpacking, and camping with her Siberian husky, Meeka. She loves oil painting in her down time, and enjoys cuddling with her cat, Lily, on cold winter nights.

Lindsey McBee-CVT

Technician

Lindsey joined the Loveland Vet Clinic family in 2016.  Lindsey was born in upstate New York and raised for most of her life in Arizona.  She enjoyed going back to New York every summer when she was younger.  She has always had a love for animals and has wanted a career in the veterinary field for as long as she can remember.  At 16 she started her first job in a veterinary clinic as a kennel technician and has worked in clinics ever since.  She decided to pursue a career as a veterinary technician when she realized how much she loves the nursing aspect of her job.  Nothing brings her more joy than caring for a sick animal and watching them leave feeling better.  In her free time she likes to paint, draw and change her hair color every other month.  She has a dog, Sadie and a cat, Zophy.
