Dr. Sydney Varela is a Colorado State University graduate and proud Austin-it’s. She began her career in veterinary medicine over 12 years ago as a technician, where she developed a passion for patient care and client connection. During her time at CSU, she also earned a Spanish for Veterinary Professionals certificate and is Fear Free certified, allowing her to better serve a diverse community while minimizing stress for her patients (especially her spicy feline patients).

Dr. Varela’s interests include urgent care, internal medicine, and surgery. She enjoys working through challenging cases and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, thorough care while ensuring clients feel informed and supported. She values the close-knit nature of general practice and enjoys building lasting relationships with pets and their people.
